Branch 408, Erie, PA
When a tornado roared through the Bradford, PA area in May, USA Officer Tyler Guthrie was working at the Zippo Manufacturing headquarters.
Guthrie assembled the Zippo staff to shelter in place as the high-velocity winds passed the high-rise complex. The twister took out power in the building, leaving the offices there vulnerable.
Not only were there potential hazards following the tornado, but Guthrie recognized that he might not be relieved. He remained on duty to ensure that the client and the facility were safe.
Guthrie’s dedication to his post speaks to his character, but also reflects the diligence that USA security personnel pride themselves on when providing services.
