As a senior vice president in the Consulting, Investigations and International, Jim Milford has the responsibility of working with clients regarding litigation support, business intelligence, fraud investigations, and other security-related issues. His extensive expertise includes directing international operations as well as domestic based investigative and policy initiatives with law firms, corporations and local, state, and federal government entities.
Milford brings years of experience in successful risk mitigation services to his position. He previously served as president and co-founder of Verasys LLC, a global consulting firm acquired by USA. Prior to that, Milford was Vice President/Officer for Choice Point (previously DataBase technologies) and was responsible for developing the organization's investigative market. Milford's accomplishments in these roles have equipped him with the insight and proficient knowledge necessary to lead C&I operations for his clients.
Milford's served for 26 years with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), where he progressed to senior command and management positions including DEA Deputy Administrator. His service to the United States was acknowledged by President Clinton with the Presidential Award of Excellence (1996).
Milford earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Chester University. He is an active member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
