Retention and Benefits
Retention Programs
Key to our strong growth is our careful selection of security officers, which helps minimize turnover and provides our clients with seamless service. Our officers work hard, often far beyond the call of duty, and we are emphatic about recognizing their efforts.
To encourage service excellence, we have several recognition programs that acknowledge and reward performance, self-improvement and personal development.
Incentives
There is nothing we enjoy more than recognizing an individual for a job well done with a financial incentive. In 2005, we made 477 cash awards totaling $114,500 to employees for a job well done.
We also recognize and reward completion of special training, meritorious achievement, safe work habits and length of service to the U.S. Security Associates. We awarded 419 Certificates of Commendation and 176 Certificates of Appreciation, which were accompanied by a savings bond or custom-made belt buckle.
Annually, we give out Security Officer of the Year and Supervisor
of the Year Awards at our Winner’s
Circle event. Winning officers and supervisors are guests
at a gala event that recognizes and rewards their superior
performance.

Generous benefits programs are an effective tool in the recruitment and retention of higher caliber security officers. U.S. Security Associates offers one of the most comprehensive benefit programs in the industry — including paid vacation and holidays.
