ATLANTA – January 2016 – U.S. Security Associates’ (USA) security officers were out in force at the Ralph Wilson Stadium (The Ralph) in New York as the Buffalo Bills wrapped up their season. In addition to their regular responsibilities, the security officers were tasked with making certain alcohol beverage compliance at the stadium was maintained. Last fall, USA formed the Alcohol Compliance Team to ensure strict adherence to their client’s alcohol policy was followed by the client’s employees, other vendors and patrons attending the Bill’s home games.
U.S. Security Associates’ security officers were asked explicitly by the client, Delaware North, a global leader in the hospitality industry that provides the concessions for The Ralph, to create a specially trained team of officers that would regulate and communicate the alcohol program to patrons and the other vendors at the stadium. The security officers that made up the Alcohol Compliance Team were trained on a variety of correct alcohol serving procedures that included identifying customers under the age of 30, removing bottle tops, and refusing service to overly-intoxicated patrons. Providing additional, client requested training for their security officers is one of the reasons U.S Security Associates is recognized for their focus and investment in the training and development of their security officers.
