U.S. Security Associates Supports the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve "Toys for Tots" Program

ATLANTA – December 24, 2013 – U.S. Security Associates (USA) is supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and the Toys for Tots program this Christmas with a major toy collection drive at the security company headquarters in Roswell, Georgia.

This is the third year that USA is collecting toy donations to benefit Toys for Tots. There were so many donations the first year USA participated that the U.S. Marine who came to pick up the toys had to arrange for a second truck to transport everything. Based on the success of that first year, the toy drive is now an annual USA tradition.

This year, USA's collection boxes are once again full of popular children's toys, games and books, and the security service company's employees are eager to see whether this year's collection will top the company's standing record of over 20 new bicycles donated in a previous year. With hundreds of dollars in cash donations to be spent on bicycles and helmets, 2013 could be a record-breaker.

"Toys for Tots is a cause our employees enthusiastically support," says Chuck Schneider, USA's President and CEO. "So many of our people choose security services work because they want to make a difference in their communities. Supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program is a simple way individuals and businesses can make a big difference for local children at Christmas."

Schneider, a formal naval officer, is committed to providing company support for military causes as well as hiring veterans and military spouses for security service work. USA is a member of the 100,000 Jobs Mission and is ranked among the Top 100 Military Friendly Employers by GI Jobs magazine.

Thanks to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, local businesses and donors like USA and its employees, and many dedicated citizens who work year-round to make the Toys for Tots program possible, children all over America will wake up on Christmas morning to the joy of a brand new toy.

About Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots is a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that has helped provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children at Christmas for 65 years. From October to December every year, members of the Marine Forces Reserve, the Marine Corps League of veterans, and local community organizations collect toys, books and other gifts for less fortunate children in more than 700 communities across all 50 states. Donated items are distributed to the children most in need with the help of local welfare agencies, churches and other community groups. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.2 million less fortunate children. Since 1947, over 209 million children have been assisted.
