ATLANTA – November 6, 2013 – U.S. Security Associates (USA) welcomes Jeremiah Main to its team in Washington, D.C. A native of the area, Main joins USA as Business Development Manager, bringing over 15 years of security service experience and a network of contacts from coast to coast. USA currently employs approximately 500 security service professionals in the District of Columbia and another 700 security officers out of supporting branch offices in Northern Virginia, Baltimore, Hagerstown, and Salisbury, Maryland. With Main as the area business development manager, USA plans to further expand the company's presence throughout the D.C. metropolitan area and northern Virgina.
Main is one of many military veterans who have had great success transitioning from military service to security service. Main served as Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years before he was selected as one of Bill Clinton's Presidential Guards. From the elite security force responsible for ensuring the President's safety while traveling, Main went on to join the Army National Guard. He served in the Guard for eight years, receiving a commission as an Army Officer through UCLA ROTC.
Following his military career, Main entered the security services field as a uniformed security officer. As he did in the military, Main quickly proved himself and rose rapidly through security company ranks, learning every facet of the business from operations management to training to business development. Today, Main brings USA the benefit of experience ranging from the roles of security company operations manager and national training director to vice president of business development.
Main's hire by USA coincides with the kick-off of USA's Recruiting America's Brave campaign, a company-wide movement to provide careers for veterans and military spouses. USA already employs thousands of military veterans, but CEO and President Chuck Schneider, a former naval officer, is making veterans employment top priority moving forward. Since pledging to join the 100,000 Jobs Mission in 2012, USA has reported record veterans employment numbers.
