U.S. Security Associates Arms Security Officers with Skills to Defuse Workplace Violence Threats

ATLANTA – August 13, 2013 – Although workplace violence can strike anywhere, research indicates that there are factors at some workplaces that may increase the risk of violence. At sites where such risk factors are present, including medical health facilities, universities, school districts, and private schools, U.S. Security Associates (USA) augments security officer training on the management of potentially threatening behavior.

The training curriculum is focused on cultivating the security officer's ability to anticipate the potential for violence and defuse the threat through non-violent intervention.
