U.S. Security Associates, Inc., the fourth largest private security company in the U.S., rallied contribution efforts to aid the victims of the April 2011 tornadoes that created horrific tragedy across the central and southern United States.
The Company called upon all associates to participate in a financial relief drive to aid USA teammates that were suffering significant hardships as a result of the tornadoes. Moreover, the Company devoted to match 100% of what was contributed.
“Many of our officers suffered catastrophic loss from the storms, both in loss and damage of property. Some had family members and/or friends perish. We view these officers as mem-ber of our extended family, and a drive was started from our corporate office to take collec-tions to provide financial assistance.” said U.S. Security Associates William Gensler,
Vice President, Georgia/Alabama Operations. “Donations came in from all around the coun-try. Funds raised from the field were matched dollar for dollar from corporate.”
We all hope our contributions played a part, in some small way, in helping these individuals begin to rebuild from their losses. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those that suffered untold losses through this tragedy. All of U.S. Security Associates continue to wish our em-ployees impacted by this tragedy a quick and speedy return in their rebuilding efforts.
The Company added that, over $12,000 was raised and disbursed to fellow associates in Alabama and Missouri. Additionally, the Company is creating a Disaster Relief Grant to help affected associates should an unfortunate natural disaster occur again in the future.
