Scalability, Sustainability and Need for Compliance Led Firm to Select ADP Given Critical Security Services its Employees Deliver for Clients in U.S. Cities in All 50 States.
ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today announced that U.S. Security Associates®, a leading security firm with nearly 50,000 employees across the United States, has gone live with an HCM solution from ADP.
U.S. Security Associates operates 160 local offices in the United States and has experience and on-the-ground resources in 120 countries. The company provides its clients with security professionals who bring diverse expertise and insight, ranging from entry-level officers to some of the security industry's top talent from the fields of law enforcement, military and corporate security.
The company chose ADP to deliver payroll, HR, and tax credit services.
"We needed a partner who gave us confidence that our people would get paid correctly and on time – and in compliance with the many local laws and regulations that impact our business," says Karl J. Scott, Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Security Associates. "As one of the largest private security companies in the United States, we also needed a platform that could support organic growth and the ability to expand into new business partnerships quickly. We found that with ADP and are delighted with the successful implementation that was delivered by ADP and U.S. Security Associates, working together."
Mark Benjamin, President of Global Enterprise Solutions at ADP, says the company is honored to be entrusted with providing Human Capital Management technology and service expertise for personnel who provide critical security services.
"We're pleased that a recognized leader in such an important field has chosen ADP for these complex mission-critical capabilities. By partnering with ADP, U.S. Security Associates now is able to focus on successfully running its business and ensuring that their people can focus on client safety rather than on payroll anxieties," said Benjamin. "For a client like U.S. Security Associates, with unique needs to enable it to lead in its industry, software isn't enough – there's a tremendous amount of service and expertise that we were delighted to share in close collaboration with them. We're gratified, once again, by the confidence a major company like U.S. Security Associates has placed in the people of ADP."
After rapid growth in recent years, U.S. Security Associates now employs nearly 50,000 people, a number expected to grow. Those swelling numbers warranted the integrated functionality that ADP's Human Capital Management platform offers, said Becky McAvoy, Director of Payroll for U.S. Security Associates.
"Because we operate in so many states, we needed a company strong in payroll and tax compliance," she said. "We also wanted audit control over HR demographic data and, most important, we wanted to pay our employees promptly and accurately. With an excellent track record in each of these key areas, ADP distinguished itself as the best choice."
McAvoy said that the success of the complex implementation underscored the advantages of having assigned people from ADP working side by side with U.S. Security Associates.
"Our client partners were with us every step of the way," McAvoy said. "They knew and understood our business, particularly in the critical areas of compliance and stability."
Through it all, McAvoy says the team never lost sight of what was most important.
"Because our clients depend on the expertise of our security personnel, they are the most important part of our business," she said. "ADP will help us keep our focus on the front lines and maintain strong customer service delivery as we continue to grow."
