The university was faced with the need to reduce cost while maintaining the safety and security posture of the nine-building campus. Although cost reduction measures were imperative, they needed to be conducted with minimal impact or inconvenience to the client's employees and students, while also alleviating any parental concerns.

Our cost saving initiative resulted in a reduction of 404 weekly uniformed security service hours (9% of total 4,414 hours at site) for annualized client savings of $325,624. After installation of two card access systems and two turnstiles, total annual savings equaled $316,824 / year. This cost-effective combination of manpower and security technology allowed the customer to meet budget requirements without any negative impact to security on campus.
