U.S. Security Associates (USA) achieved solid progress in 2016 as we reinvested back into our company, added new service offerings, and expanded our geographic reach. Most significantly, the launch of our two key strategic initiatives -- SecuritySTARS® and The P3 Technology PlatformSM -- now provides us with industry exclusive capabilities to create the best outcomes for our clients.
As we kick off 2017, I am more excited than ever about our company's outlook for ongoing positive momentum and organic growth. The overall market demand for safety and security service solutions continues to expand. In addition, the diversity and magnitude of risks is increasing, with the unintended consequences of improper mitigation proving costlier than ever before. Thus, the value we create for our clients cannot be overstated.
As we approach the holidays and the end of 2016, we believe that U.S. Security Associates (USA) is very well positioned for continued growth. Our primary focus is on enhancing client value by delivering a fuller suite of safety and security services.
SecuritySTARS® and The P3SM Technology Platform -- our two strategic initiatives -- further strengthen our capabilities to produce the best outcomes for our clients:
Over the past several months, we have all witnessed the increasingly frequent at-tacks of terrorism inflicted upon innocent people across the globe. These acts of ha-tred have no place in our civilized world, and cannot be tolerated. While the root cause(s) of these horrific acts can and should be debated, it is my belief that we have a much better chance of changing this toxic atmosphere, and making a posi-tive impact on society at large, by communicating more openly with each other and by forging a better understanding of the value of diversity.
The Winner’s Circle is a very special event where we celebrate the outstanding performances of the previous year. The Winner’s Circle tells the real story of U.S. Security Associates (USA). The awards exemplify the best of what we are and what we want to be as a company – our values, our goals, our heroes and the per-formance level we aspire to. This event also celebrates the success of our compa-ny, which every individual here has had a role in creating.
Through the first few months of the year, I am pleased to report that we are on-track compared to our business objectives. With your continued commitment and dedication, I expect that we will have another positive year of GROWTH within our company.
We are coming off of a very successful 2015. We can confidently look back on the year with a great sense of pride. I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of our successes and personally thank you for your hard work and dedication. During 2015, we achieved the following accomplishments:
In the business world, as is in life, a positive attitude and a commitment to act are really important. Whether I am getting up early to help get the kids to school, or to go to the gym or work, my motivation to accomplish the task at hand starts with my mind-set. Admittedly, sometimes when the wake-up alarm clock goes off, I do have a brief moment of pause. Then I refocus on my objectives and their desired outcomes and I propel myself forward.
We are now half way through the year and have a lot to be proud of. Our business growth is strong, with many new clients coming on board. In addition, our focus on service quality has enabled us to retain and expand many of our existing relationships as well. As we know, growth comes in three buckets -- retention, base business expansion, and new client sales. The combination of achieving results in each of these three elements is essential to our current and future success.

For the 2nd time in 2 years, Tim has brought me another internal theft investigation and did so dis-creetly and with meticulous details. As a result of this, we closed a substantial case that would have gone unnoticed and undetected had Tim not brought this intelligence to me with urgen-cy. Tim has been instrumental on our team and has been an imperative cohesive ingredient for this account and has worked all positions in our building throughout his career. Tim has flawless communication with the SSC Loss Pre-vention Team and is sharp witted and tactful with all of our associates.
